'Blessed are those who are corrected when young and continue to learn so we don't repeat it

The Word of God says, "23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what He promised us—eternal life"- 1 John 2:23-25 Being corrected is not comfortable even when it is from our loved ones because it only confirms our fears. Denying the truth is easy when we live in darkness but once light shines, then in our conscious there is constant battling for a change. Those God loves He corrects and those who are willing to listen, do act up on it to break free from sin. So why does our rebellious nature keep us from instilling all our past learnings to live in the light? The answer is, we are born into a sinful world and to uproot ourselves from it completely takes more than one step. So don't give up on our self and those we pray for but keep pressing on knowing God is on our side.
